Pineapple Shrimp Bites
Ingredients
- 1 Pineapple
- ½ lb Shrimp
- 1 tbsp Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Butter or Oil
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic minced
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- Soy Sauce
Instructions
- Cut pineapple into 1½ inch square chunks. Use pairing knife and spoon to scoop out the middle to create a cup like shape.
- In a medium sized skillet, toast crushed red pepper and sesame seeds on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until seeds become fragrant and remove into small bowl.
- Add in 1 tbsp of butter or oil followed by garlic. Allow garlic to cook for 30 seconds then add in shrimp. Pour in other seasonings and cook shrimp on each side for 1 minute then remove into medium bowl. Toss shrimp with toasted red pepper and sesame seeds.
- Place 1 piece of shrimp in every pineapple square. Drizzle soy sauce and enjoy!
