Toast slices of bread for 2-3 minutes then cut each slice into thirds.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Heat a medium sized skillet over medium heat to melt butter.
Dip bread sticks into wet mix, cover completely, then place in skillet to cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip sticks and cook for 2-3 more minutes until desire, then remove.
Sift powdered sugar over sticks and pour maple syrup in small bowl.
Dip French toast stick in maple syrup and enjoy!
