Gingerbread Pancakes
Ingredients
- 3 Eggs lightly beaten
- 1½ Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- ½ Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup Molasses
- ⅓ Cup Shortening melted
- 2 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- Powdered Sugar
- Pure Maple Syrup
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
- In a separate large bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry bowl and whisk together until smooth.
- Preheat griddle or pan to medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of mix onto griddle or pan.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes or until desire and flip.
- Cook for another 4-6 minutes or until desire and remove.
- Using a gingerbread man cookie cutter, place the cookie cutter in the middle of your pancake to achieve the full shape.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over pancakes.
- Pour maple syrup & enjoy!
