Gingerbread Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Eggs lightly beaten
  • Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Molasses
  • Cup Shortening melted
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Pure Maple Syrup

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate large bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry bowl and whisk together until smooth.
  4. Preheat griddle or pan to medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of mix onto griddle or pan.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until desire and flip.
  7. Cook for another 4-6 minutes or until desire and remove.
  8. Using a gingerbread man cookie cutter, place the cookie cutter in the middle of your pancake to achieve the full shape.
  9. Sprinkle powdered sugar over pancakes.
  10. Pour maple syrup & enjoy!
