Gingerbread Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Eggs lightly beaten
  • Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Molasses
  • Cup Shortening melted
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Pure Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry bowl and whisk together until smooth.
  • Preheat griddle or pan to medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of mix onto griddle or pan.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes or until desire and flip.
  • Cook for another 4-6 minutes or until desire and remove.
  • Using a gingerbread man cookie cutter, place the cookie cutter in the middle of your pancake to achieve the full shape.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over pancakes.
  • Pour maple syrup & enjoy!
