Homemade Vanilla Wafers
Ingredients
- 1½ Cups All-Purpose Flour
- ¾ Tsp Baking Powder
- ½ Tsp Kosher Salt
- ½ Cup Butter room temperature
- ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- ¼ Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg room temperature
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, cream together butter, powdered sugar, and sugar on medium speed.
- Mix in egg, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth and fluffy.
- Slowly mix in flour mixture on low until well combined. Chill batter in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
- Scoop ½ tsp sized dollops of batter onto baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, rotating pan halfway through baking.
- Remove cookies when golden brown and cool.
