Shrimp Po’Boy
Ingredients
- 4 Hoagie Rolls
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes sliced
- Sweet Bread & Butter Pickle Chips from trader joes
- Remoulade Sauce
- 16 Shrimp
Shrimp
- 2 qt Vegetable Oil
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Smoked Paprika
Instructions
Shrimp
- Preheat vegetable oil to 325°F for frying.
- In small mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and hot sauce.
- In medium mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
- Individually, dip shrimp into egg wash mixture covering completely. Then transfer to flour mix covering completely.
- Fry shrimp for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Transfer shrimp to paper-towel lined plate to drain.
Sandwich
- Slice tomatoes.
- Apply Remoulade sauce to roll.
- Layer lettuce, tomatoes, pickles on roll.
- Layer shrimp on top of pickles.
- Apply more Remoulade sauce on top of shrimp.
- Eat and enjoy!
