Shrimp Po'Boy

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Hoagie Rolls
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Sweet Bread & Butter Pickle Chips from trader joes
  • Remoulade Sauce
  • 16 Shrimp

Shrimp

  • 2 qt Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Smoked Paprika

Instructions
 

Shrimp

  • Preheat vegetable oil to 325°F for frying.
  • In small mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and hot sauce.
  • In medium mixing bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
  • Individually, dip shrimp into egg wash mixture covering completely. Then transfer to flour mix covering completely.
  • Fry shrimp for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Transfer shrimp to paper-towel lined plate to drain.

Sandwich

  • Slice tomatoes.
  • Apply Remoulade sauce to roll.
  • Layer lettuce, tomatoes, pickles on roll.
  • Layer shrimp on top of pickles.
  • Apply more Remoulade sauce on top of shrimp.
  • Eat and enjoy!
