Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1 Lbs Cremini Mushrooms
- 1 Lbs Ground Turkey
- 8 Oz Cream Cheese softened
- ¼ Cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
- ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- ¼ Tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ Tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- ¼ Tsp Salt
Instructions
- Clean mushrooms with warm water and a damp paper towel. Carefully break off stems and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Finely chop mushroom stems or use a food processor.
- Cook ground turkey in a large cast-iron skillet and season to desire. Set browned meat aside.
- Add olive oil to cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Pour in chopped mushroom and garlic . Fry until moisture has disappeared and set aside to cool.
- Once ground meat is cool, combine in a large mixing bowl with cream cheese, black pepper, cayenne, onion powder, salt, and Parmesan cheese.
- Fill each mushroom cap with a generous amount of filling and arrange caps with the used cast-iron skillet.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over mushrooms caps.
- Place in oven to bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted. If after 20 minutes, cheese has not browned yet, turn oven to broil on Hi. Keep a close eye on mushrooms because the cheese will brown fast.
- Remove from oven and enjoy!
