White Cheddar Chicken Pasta Print Recipe Pin Recipe Prep Time 25 minutes minsCook Time 10 minutes minsTotal Time 35 minutes mins Course Dinner, Main Course Ingredients Chicken1-2 lbs Chicken Tenderloins diced1½ Tbsp Olive Oil1 Tsp Dry Mustard½ Tsp Thyme dried½ Tsp Oregano driedSalt + Pepper to TasteSauce1 lb Rironi Pasta2 Tbsp Butter2 Tbsp All-Purpose Flour2 Cloves Garlic minced1 Yellow Onion diced2 Cups Milk¼ Cup White Wine Vinegar 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard 8 Oz White Cheddar Cheese shredded or grated1 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper FlakesSalt + Pepper to Taste Instructions Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Dice chicken and season with seasonings. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook chicken for a few minutes until done and set aside on a plate. Cook rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. In the chicken skillet, melt butter and add in flour. Mix together and add white wine vinegar, garlic, onions, and Dijon mustard. Mix well for 3-5 minutes until onions are soft. Slowly pour in milk and stir after each addition. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Add in chicken and red pepper flakes.
