Crispy Shaved Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Fresh Brussels Sprouts
  • 2-4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic 2 pressed 1 sliced
  • Salt + Pepper to taste
  • Balsamic Glaze optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400℉.
  2. Using a sharp knife, slice the tops of the Brussels Sprouts to make a flat edge.
  3. Carefully using a mandolin, slice the Brussels Sprouts 3/16" thick. Throw away stems.
  4. In a large bowl, combine shaved Brussels Sprouts, olive oil, salt + pepper, and garlic. Using your hands or tongs, toss to mix well evenly.
  5. On a large baking sheet, layer Brussels Sprouts and bake for 16-18 minutes. At 7 minutes, remove from oven and toss with tongs.
  6. Top with balsamic glaze if desired.
