Poke cloves into the apples. Cloves should be evenly spread around entire apple.
Place apples into large pot and pour in all ingredients minus alcohol. Cook pot on medium low and bring to a simmer for 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove from heat and discard apples from pot.
Using a mug, pour in triple sec and whiskey (add more if desired). Use a strainer to pour in wassail. Place a cinnamon stick from the pot into mug and enjoy!
